One product, two domains, two different catalogues
The Premium Bamboo Knee Sleeve (Single) is sold under the same name, at the same $44.00, on two separate domains. The listings are not identical. On 12 October 2026 onecompress.com offered six colours and 42 variants, while onecompressbamboo.com offered four colours and 28 variants. Which domain a shopper lands on decides what is available to them, and nothing on either page says so.
| onecompressbamboo.com | onecompress.com | |
|---|---|---|
| Listed price | $44.00 | $44.00 |
| Compare-at field | $80.00 | $80.00 |
| Sizes | 7, S to 4XL | 7, S to 4XL |
| Colours | 4: Gray, Black, Red, Cream | 6: Gray, Black, Navy, Red, Cream, Pink |
| Variants | 28 | 42 |
| Variants out of stock | none | 1, the 2XL in Pink |
| Internal SKU codes | none recorded on any variant | present on every variant |
| Fibre percentage | not published | not published |
| Sizing table format | readable text in the page | image only |
| Returns window published | both 30 days and 60 days | 60 days |
The price is genuinely consistent across both domains and across every variant, which is worth saying plainly. Neither domain charges more for a 4XL than for a small, and the compare-at field is the same $80.00 throughout. The rendered page on onecompressbamboo.com displays that as a 45 percent saving.
Bamboo is in the product name. No percentage of it is published.
The word bamboo appears in the title, in the domain name and throughout the marketing copy. What does not appear, on either domain, is any fibre composition. We checked the product's own description field, which is byte for byte identical on both domains, and swept the full rendered page text on both for rayon, viscose, nylon, spandex, elastane, polyester, cotton, percentage signs, composition, fibre and fabric. The only material wording returned was marketing copy describing the softest compression material on the market and premium bamboo fabric.
A name is not a composition claim. Bamboo in textiles is usually processed into viscose or rayon, and the proportion of a garment that is bamboo-derived can range from most of it to very little, with the rest typically nylon and elastane for the stretch a compression garment needs. Without a published percentage, a buyer cannot tell where on that range this sleeve sits.
One detail is worth flagging precisely because it is easy to transfer by mistake. One Compress does publish a composition, but for a different product: its BambooLITE lightweight compression socks are listed as 40 percent bamboo fibre, 50 percent nylon and 10 percent Lycra elastic, read 12 October 2026. That figure belongs to the socks. It says nothing about the knee sleeve, and anyone quoting it as the sleeve's composition would be wrong.
The sizing table is published as text, and that deserves credit
On onecompressbamboo.com the sizing table is real text inside the page, not a picture of a table. It can be searched, read aloud by a screen reader, copied into a message and checked against a tape measure without opening a graphic. Most sellers in this category publish an image. This one does not, and that is the single best thing about the listing.
| Size | Thigh circumference, inches | Thigh circumference, cm |
|---|---|---|
| S | 12.5 to 15 | 32 to 39 |
| M | 15.5 to 18.5 | 40 to 47 |
| L | 19 to 21.5 | 48 to 55 |
| XL | 22 to 23.5 | 56 to 60 |
| 2XL | 24 to 26 | 61 to 66 |
| 3XL | 26.5 to 28.5 | 67 to 73 |
| 4XL | 29 to 32 | 74 to 82 |
Note what is being measured. This is thigh circumference above the knee, not the circumference of the knee itself. That is a defensible choice for a sleeve that has to pass over the thigh, but it means the number a shopper reaches for is not the one the product name suggests. No knee circumference figure is published on either domain.
On onecompress.com the same seven rows exist only inside an image in a sizing accordion, with the text beside it repeating the instruction to measure 4 inches from the top of the knee cap. Same numbers, worse format.
There is a second, older sizing chart still live on the page
Embedded in the product description itself, identical on both domains, is a different sizing chart. It carries six sizes rather than seven, has no 4XL row at all, and gives different ranges: a small as 13.7 to 16.5 inches rather than 12.5 to 15, and a large as 20.5 to 22.5 inches rather than 19 to 21.5. Both charts were live on 12 October 2026.
A shopper who scrolls to the description and a shopper who opens the sizing block are given different answers for the same size letter, and one of those answers does not cover a size the store actually sells. If you are ordering, use the seven row table above, which is the one published as text and the one that includes the 4XL that exists in the catalogue.
Two returns windows on one domain
onecompress.com is consistent. Both its returns surfaces state that you must email within 60 days of receiving the order, that a replacement is shipped if available and the full purchase price refunded if not, and that the customer pays return shipping. Priority shipping costs and tips are not refundable.
onecompressbamboo.com publishes two different windows at the same time. Its refund and return policy page states 60 days. Its separate policies page states that a return may be requested within 30 days of receipt, with the item unused, in its original packaging and with tags attached, a 14 day window to report a faulty or wrong item, and refunds issued in 5 to 10 business days. Both pages were live on 12 October 2026. Anyone relying on day 45 would find one page on their side and one against them, so get the window confirmed in writing before you buy.
Shipping is free over $75 USD on both domains. Dispatch timing is also stated twice and differently on onecompress.com: one page says orders leave the warehouse within 24 hours, another says 1 to 5 business days. US delivery is given as 3 to 7 working days and international as 7 to 15, with a separate policy page quoting 7 to 25 business days for standard international and warning that customs can extend it to 40 days.
The review counts on the page contradict each other four ways
The independent figure first. Trustpilot's profile for onecompress.com showed 4.7 out of 5 from 4,803 reviews on 12 October 2026. That is a strong score on a substantial number of reviews, and it is company-wide. Trustpilot does not break it down per product, so it is not a knee sleeve rating.
The on-page figures are a different matter. On 12 October 2026 the knee sleeve page on onecompress.com displayed, on one page at one time, claims of more than 19,000 verified reviews, more than 30,000 verified reviews, 31,832 reviews and 31,827 reviews. The same product's page on onecompressbamboo.com displayed more than 16,000 verified shopper reviews alongside a count of 18,854. Neither page states whether any of these cover the knee sleeve or the whole store.
Numbers that disagree with each other on the same screen cannot all be right, and none of them can be checked by a shopper. Where an independent profile exists, use that. Where a count has no source and no scope, treat it as decoration.
How to check all of this yourself in about two minutes
- Add .json to the end of any Shopify product URL to see the real price, compare-at value, every variant and the description field, with no marketing layer in between.
- Add /products.json?limit=250 to a store's domain to list the whole catalogue, which is how two domains selling the same product with different variant counts become visible.
- Search the page for a percent sign before believing a fibre claim. A material in the product name is not a composition.
- Check whether the sizing table is text or an image. Text can be searched and read aloud. An image cannot.
- Open both the returns page and the policies page. On this seller they do not always say the same thing.
- Compare any review count on the page against an independent profile, and check whether the count has a scope attached to it at all.
Methodology and source dates
Every figure above was read on 12 October 2026 from the product JSON endpoints of onecompressbamboo.com and onecompress.com, their rendered product pages, their published returns and shipping policies, and the public Trustpilot profile for onecompress.com. Prices are USD as published, confirmed from each storefront's own declared currency. Compare-at values are reported as fields in the store's own data, not endorsed as evidence of a saving.
The seven row sizing table is quoted from the machine-readable text published on onecompressbamboo.com. The older six row chart was read from an image and is reported only as a conflict to be aware of, not as a figure to rely on. No product was worn or tested for this article, and nothing above is a measurement of performance. This concerns garments in a Class I comfort-garment framing. It is not a recommendation of medical devices, an assessment of treatment efficacy, or advice about an injury.
